This evocative musical work describes the Virgin Mary's encounter with an Angel who tells her that she, though having never known a man, will bear a child who will be the Son of God.  The undulating music in Annuncio explores different key areas and textures, gives melodic content to each voice part, and features some aleatoric elements.  A great piece to pair with your favorite Magnificat setting!
